Course Overview

The PADI Rescue Diver course expands your knowledge and experience beyond the recreational level. You'lllearn to identify and prevent problems in the water and respond to diving emergencies - both minor and major- using a variety of techniques.

Who It's For

• Advanced Open Water Divers (PADI or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 12 years old
• Must have a valid CPR and First Aid certification (EFR or equivalent)

What You'll Learn

• Self-rescue skills and stress management
• Recognizing and responding to diver fatigue and panic
• Emergency management and equipment
• Assisting unresponsive or panicked divers
• Missing diver procedures
• Surfacing and exiting unconscious divers

Course Structure

The course combines knowledge development, confined water training, and open water rescue scenarios. It's an engaging and hands-on course that challenges you to apply everything you've learned in realistic situations.

Location Options

• Confined water sessions in Miami
• Rescue scenarios conducted in the ocean (Miami or Key Largo, depending on conditions)
